Youth Advocacy Council

The Youth Advocacy Council (YAC) consists of alumni of Project 440 programs, the School District of Philadelphia, and other young leaders from throughout the region with a passion for music and the arts. Participants meet twice monthly and receive leadership, project management, governance, and advocacy training, as well as earning a $10/hour stipend for their time and work.

YAC activities include:

• Student outreach

• Representing Project 440 at community events

• Planning and hosting an annual YAC event

• Contributing to Project 440 social media

• Presenting an annual report to the Project 440 Board
